By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Song of the Day.
By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your login credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used in abusive, harmful, or unlawful ways.
3. User Content
The App allows you to post content such as songs, captions, profile information, likes, and comments ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and displaying the App's features, including social and community features.
This license ends when your content is deleted, except where retention is required for legal, security, or operational purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content:
- Does not infringe the rights of others
- Does not contain illegal, hateful, harassing, or abusive material
- Complies with applicable laws and these Terms
We may remove or restrict access to User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Send spam or manipulate engagement
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the App or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the App's source code
5. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Firebase (Google)
- Expo
- Apple Music and related APIs
Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside of our control.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By using the App, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
7. App Changes & Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.
We are not liable if the App is unavailable at any time or for any duration.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Made by Skows LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account within the App.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
11. Platform Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of Apple App Store or Google Play.
If these Terms conflict with platform terms, the platform terms shall control.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
